Emergency Veterinarian / ICU Nurse
Julia is a veterinarian from Murdoch University, 2009. Throughout the last 4 years of her studies, she worked at a number of general practice vet clinics in nursing positions, where she received invaluable on-the-job training and experience. During her final year of study, she also completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam, allowing her the opportunity to practice in North America. Julia travelled after graduation and accomplished a lifelong dream by doing some volunteer zoo work in the Peruvian Amazon. PVE has hired Julia both as a critical care nurse and as an ICU intern, aiming to mould her into an emergency and critical care veterinarian. She is owned by two Burmese rescue cats, Coco and Kelly, and a smart staffy cross named Spot.
