Emergency Veterinarian
Dr Katie Barker is a veterinarian with both General Practice and Emergency and Critical Care experience. Her time spent in general practice has helped to refine her surgical technique as she aspires to walk in her father’s footsteps (an exceptional surgeon in human medicine). Katie has always had a keen interest in emergency and critical care and hopes one day to specialise in this discipline. Katie’s other major veterinary passion is diagnostic imaging, and so working with PVE within the Perth Veterinary Specialists hospital is a perfect fit.
